Aims and Scope

The African Research Journal of Paediatrics and Neonatology (AFRJPN) aims to advance scientific knowledge and clinical excellence by publishing high-quality original research, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, narrative reviews, clinical studies, case reports, short communications, editorials, perspectives, and letters to the editor covering all aspects of paediatric and neonatal medicine.

The journal encourages research that enhances understanding of childhood growth and development, neonatal care, disease prevention, clinical management, healthcare delivery, and health policy. AFRJPN supports multidisciplinary research that translates scientific discoveries into improved patient care and better health outcomes for children worldwide.
